The Tay river on a still night.  The colours were there and the reflection was better than I've captured.  The next day we climbed Ben Lawers. Got to feel life is affirmed in this setting.

Did a coastal walk on the way back south at St Abbs.  Took a 300mm lens for taking bird piccies, but they'd all flown the coop and left me wishing I'd brought a smaller lens too.

My mild obsession with fenceposts continues.  This one is in Thirsk, on the way up to Scotland with dogs in the car.  Stayed over at a great BnB, but this walk was wetter than advertised, especially in trainers.

These falls are called the Birks of Aberfeldy and where Burns penned a ditty or two.  We visited whilst it was still raining.  Later the same trip I was taking a snap of people and dogs when I ended up taking a backwards step, stopped by falling on my arse, it still hurts.

Another dog-walk along the banks fo the Tay.  This time the tree looked lonely so I shot it.  Did that trick of taking multiple exposures to get a decent sky in the underexposed shot and a better exposure of the tree - though I darkened it for dramatic affect.

Not that I'm anally retentative or anything, but the photo mag I was reading took photos of poppies - so I found these few sorry offerings and tried to make them look passable.
